Willis Credit Union (WCU) offers several types of savings accounts. There is a program for the
small saver as well as the large depositor. The primary purpose of the credit union is to encourage thrift among its members.
Once you have made your initial deposit of $25.00 into a Share Account, this opens the door for you to use the many services
offered by the credit union.
Regular Shares
This is the basic account for membership in WCU. This account is an easy and excellent way to encourage young children and adults to save for the future.
IRAs
WCU offers the following IRA options:
Cumulative: Christmas Club This is a great way to plan for that extra expense at Christmas time. You may contribute as little as $1.00 per deposit or as much as you would like. Dividends are paid on this account the same as on Regular Shares. Your Christmas Club funds are available to you each year shortly after the first of October, in plenty of time to enjoy shopping for that special time of year. Vacation Club Vacation Club works like your Christmas Club. The interest rate is the same as regular shares and one withdrawal per quarter is permitted. Start saving now for that special vacation. Share Certificates of Deposit
Whether you are a small or large saver, our certificate program will help you build your personal assets and develop a sound, long range savings plan.
